Homesteading in the Panhandle
Bent Pines Farm is a homestead in the Florida panhandle dedicated to strengthening our connection to God, to the earth, and to one another through the homesteading lifestyle. We offer educational clinics and spiritual retreats to help others find the happiness, peace, and sense of community we enjoy as full-time homesteaders.
Fresh Produce & Honey
Our orchard is home both to a variety of fruit trees and bushes and to our bees, providing us with honey, fruit, and the ingredients for our baked goods and jams. Our gardens and mushroom cellar produce all the vegetables for our meals and canned goods.
Handmade Artisanal Goods
Our woodshop, glass blowing shop, and forge produce much of what we need on the farm. We also offer homemade goods to our clients and guest instructors to help our clients learn to provide for themselves. Our gun smithing shop provides for all our protection needs.
Our Four-legged Family
From our chickens providing our eggs to our dogsĀ who protect us, our animals help us in caring for our homestead and one another. Our horses teach us the importance of community and safety. All our animals teach us to be fully present to what God has in store for us.
Family Owned & Operated Since 2000
Bent Pines Farm was initially established by Gabe and Dorothy Becchinelli as a 20-acre homestead selling chickens. Not having children interested in the homesteading lifestyle, they gifted their home to a family friend with the provision that it remain a farm. Our logo is an homage to their legacy, replacing the chickens with the equine inspiration for much of what we do.
